Sunpatiens Patio is the type of Sunpatiens that is best adapted to climate change. Let us see what distinguishes it from its sisters S. Compact and S. Vigorous:
– It is the most compact and is approx. 20% shorter than Sunpatiens Compact, but with more flowers.
– It flowers generously and early, from mid-March until November.
– It thrives easily in all light conditions: full sun, half shade and shade.
– It is the only Sunpatiens that fits in pots or tubs, as it has less vigorous roots that are better adapted to even small containers, without having to water it frequently, like S. Compact. It is preferable, however, in the hottest summer period to keep it in the shade (north-facing positions) or in half-shade (north-east).

HOW TO USE IT
– It can adorn flower beds, patios, windowsills and balconies. During this month, if it is grown in a container, it is best kept in half-shade or shade. Above 400 m also south in full sun.
– It produces more flowers if it is in full sun, while it grows taller if it is in the shade.
– In full sun it forms a foliage 15 to 35 cm high.
– It is more suitable than the other Sunpatiens in mixed compositions with other plants because it is less intrusive.

CULTIVATION INFO
– Transplant in a pot using a good quality peat soil.
– In a flowerbed, mix the soil with soft, airy loam. Water the hole thoroughly both at the time of transplanting and in the following days until it takes root (approx. 8-10 days).
